Hope
it seems that on this planet, hope is the motivating factor of the underdog. I'm all for it. When hope is the force behind sanity, gratitude expands.
In a world where technology has exploded and human rights have imploded in the last fifty years, I need something real. And if nothing else, hope. In survivor mode; hope.
I was recently introduced to a brand called DŌterra. You can google there manufacturing and sourcing policy. They also have a wonderful mission statement ref electing their core values. Those values include holistic health and sustainable business. Not a coupling we see enough of in the health and wellness sector. This is a company that is giving its best at promoting holistic wellness and on a global scale. A very different approach at alternative healing modalities, specifically aromatherapy and dietary supplements . You can contact me for information about this brand here https://www.mydoterra.com/tamarastouch/#/
Because of my interest in natural perfume I was impacted by this brand. It's level of purity is on par with excellence. I am excited to announce that have started as a sales consultant for this brand. I believe it will help me grow a network of likeminded individuals and impact this community. I can also think of endless combinations of oils to help inspire others in their DIY beauty.
One of the most important elements of this company's structure is their philanthropic work. We all know to give others the gift of freedom, is in itself freedom! And this is something that I believe, that we are not free until we are all free. That there is one race, and that is the human race. That any division into that race is a socially somctructed concept and of no substance when viewing the self as a whole. We all have inherit worth and dignity. We are all impacted by anything that threatens those virtues.
We are now living in an age where the tone is mosogynostic and the message is devastating.
This is not the world our ancestors hoped for. Women are still slaves and the mass conscience needs to elevate the womb back to its life giving virtue. A little hope to see that happen with DŌterra, touched my heart when it was gifted to me. An essential oil blend, made of a few simple ingredients with one hundred percent of the profit going to charity. This blend was made for the survivors of sex trafficking and their outreach programs are supported by its profit.

Winter DIY beauty
Space to do what you need to know!
Turning grief into the power to release and letting go with strength. Saving myself from heartache, being vulnerable with myself. Finding out what I need! All this helps me find myself and continue to love myself.
Welcome to 2017, a year where I'm not comparing myself and not resorting to competition of who carries the bigger burden. I've been in so many interpersonal grievances where there is a personal dynamic of codependent relationships. I've had to un-inline myself to carry other people's struggles. I've allowed myself to spend more time with myself, and you know there ain't bunk beds on them coffins. And we all do end up in this earth , so profound when you consider all this that we do to be beautiful. And all that we do to attain status to separate ourself from the "other"
For me 2016 was a whirlwind of a year and I am grateful for every experience that brought me to this whole person. I still look in the mirror and see my soul.
I have been vulnerable this year. Mostly because of lack of boundaries in my relationships. This has impacted my own ability to know what I need and what I want. Lack of boundaries invites negative attention, manipulation by others, and a general loss of self. The disappointments and hurts I have had handed to me disrupt the inner peace that comes with having boundaries and a solid knowledge of self. The critical viewpoint that I use to see myself making the boundaries necessary took a lot of work. It wasn't easy but it was definitely worth it ! You have to be able to be vulnerable with yourself and take risks . You have to be accountable for your mistakes and willing to get out of your comfort zone.
I've decided this year to learn to involve my higher self in all facets of my life. Decisions about big and small things! I've made that my intention in all things this year ... and I hope that passion infuses all the things I make and share with you this year.
Look out for some DIY posts to come ...
